About Me

I'm a photographer based in the Nebraska Sandhills, where my husband and I are raising our family on a ranch near Ericson, NE. Between our two kids and enough horses, cattle, sheep, and dogs to keep us busy, there's rarely a dull moment around here, but that's exactly how I like it.

I grew up in small town Nebraska and spent my weekends and summers on the ranch, so this lifestyle has always been home to me. In 2014, I bought my first camera to take photos for my husband's horse training business and quickly discovered a passion for photography that I never expected. I began photographing people in 2021, took the leap into full time photography in 2024, and haven't looked back.

Today, I specialize in weddings, families, seniors, couples, maternity, newborns, western lifestyle, and equine promotion. It may sound like a wide variety, but each of those sessions holds a special place in my heart, and I truly can't imagine giving any of them up.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me on the ranch, chasing kids, looking for the closest coffee shop, or spending one day each week working as an occupational therapy assistant. It might sound like an unexpected combination, but my OT background has shaped the way I approach photography. It's taught me patience, flexibility, how to adapt when things don't go according to plan, and, most importantly, how to help people feel comfortable. Whether I'm working with toddlers, grandparents, nervous grooms, seniors, or energetic families, my goal is to create a relaxed experience where you can simply enjoy the moment.

If we've never met before, you'll quickly find that I'm pretty laid back, calm, and down to earth. You don't have to worry about knowing what to do. That's my job. I'll guide you when you need it, step back when the moment speaks for itself, and take care of the details so you can focus on enjoying the experience. I want you to leave your session feeling like you had fun, with images that genuinely feel like you, and maybe even hear your picture hating husband or son say, "That wasn't too bad." The genuine laughs, the quiet in between moments, the happy chaos, and the connections that make this season of life worth remembering are what I love capturing most.
